ਰਾਜੰ ਤ ਮਾਨੰ ਅਭਿਮਾਨੰ ਤ ਹੀਨੰ ॥
raaja(n) ta maana(n) abhimaana(n) ta heena(n) ||
If there is power, then there is pride. If there is egotistical pride, then there will be a fall.
ਜਿਥੇ ਰਾਜ ਹੈ, ਉਥੇ ਅਹੰਕਾਰ ਭੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਥੇ ਅਹੰਕਾਰ ਹੈ, ਉਥੇ ਨਿਰਾਦਰੀ ਭੀ ਹੈ ।
जहाँ राज है। वहाँ अहंकार भी है। जहाँ अहंकार है। वहाँ निरादरी भी है।
Si hay poder, también hay orgullo, si hay orgullo egoísta, también habrá una caída.
ਪ੍ਰਵਿਰਤਿ ਮਾਰਗੰ ਵਰਤੰਤਿ ਬਿਨਾਸਨੰ ॥
pravirat maaraga(n) varata(n)t binaasana(n) ||
Engrossed in worldly ways, one is ruined.
ਸੋ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਦੇ ਰਸਤੇ ਵਿਚ ਹਰੇਕ ਚੀਜ਼ ਦਾ ਅੰਤ (ਭੀ) ਹੈ ।
सो दुनिया के रास्ते में हरेक चीज़ का अंत (भी) है।
Al estar involucrado en los asuntos mundanos, uno es arruinado.
ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਭਜਨ ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗੇਣ ਅਸਥਿਰੰ ਨਾਨਕ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਭਜਨਾਸਨੰ ॥੧੨॥
gobi(n)dh bhajan saadh sa(n)gen asathira(n) naanak bhagava(n)t bhajanaasana(n) ||12||
Meditating and vibrating on the Lord of the Universe in the Company of the Holy, you shall become steady and stable. Nanak vibrates and meditates on the Lord God. ||12||
ਸਦਾ-ਥਿਰ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਭਗਤੀ ਹੀ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤਿ (ਦੇ ਆਸਰੇ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ) । (ਇਸ ਵਾਸਤੇ) ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਭਗਵਾਨ ਦੇ ਭਜਨ ਦਾ ਭੋਜਨ (ਆਪਣੀ ਜਿੰਦ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਹ) ।੧੨।
सदा-स्थिर रहने वाली परमात्मा की भगती ही है साध-संगति (के आसरे की जा सकती है)। (इस वास्ते) हे नानक ! भगवान के भजन का भोजन (अपनी जीवात्मा को दे)। 12।
Meditando y vibrando en el Señor del Universo en la Saad Sangat, te volverás estable y tranquilo, Nanak medita y vibra en el Señor Dios. (12)
ਕਿਰਪੰਤ ਹਰੀਅੰ ਮਤਿ ਤਤੁ ਗਿਆਨੰ ॥
kirapa(n)t hareea(n) mat tat giaana(n) ||
By the Grace of God, genuine understanding comes to the mind.
ਜਿਥੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਉਥੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੀ ਅਕਲ ਨੂੰ ਸਹੀ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੀ ਸੂਝ ਆ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ,
जहाँ परमातमा की कृपा हो वहाँ मनुष्य की बुद्धि को जीवन की सही सूझ आ जाती है।
El intelecto florece y encontramos un lugar en el reino de la Dicha Celestial,
ਬਿਗਸੀਧੵਿ ਬੁਧਾ ਕੁਸਲ ਥਾਨੰ ॥
bigaseedhiye budhaa kusal thaana(n) ||
The intellect blossoms forth, and one finds a place in the realm of celestial bliss.
(ਅਜੇਹੀ ਬੁੱਧੀ) ਸੁਖ ਦਾ ਟਿਕਾਣਾ ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ, (ਅਜੇਹੀ ਬੁੱਧੀ ਵਾਲੇ) ਗਿਆਨਵਾਨ ਲੋਕ ਸਦਾ ਖਿੜੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ।
(ऐसी बुद्धि) सुख का ठिकाना बन जाती है। (ऐसी बुद्धि वाले) ज्ञानवान लोग सदा खिले रहते हैं।
los sentidos son controlados y el orgullo abandonado,
ਬਸੵਿੰਤ ਰਿਖਿਅੰ ਤਿਆਗਿ ਮਾਨੰ ॥
basiye(n)t rikhia(n) tiaag maana(n) ||
The senses are brought under control, and pride is abandoned.
ਮਾਣ ਤਿਆਗਣ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਇੰਦ੍ਰੇ ਵੱਸ ਵਿਚ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ,
मान त्यागने के कारण उनकी इन्द्रियां वश में रहती हें।
el corazón es refrescado y suavizado
ਸੀਤਲੰਤ ਰਿਦਯੰ ਦ੍ਰਿੜੁ ਸੰਤ ਗਿਆਨੰ ॥
seetala(n)t ridhaya(n) dhiraR sa(n)t giaana(n) ||
The heart is cooled and soothed, and the wisdom of the Saints is implanted within.
ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਹਿਰਦਾ (ਸਦਾ) ਸੀਤਲ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਇਹ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਵਾਲਾ ਗਿਆਨ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਪੱਕਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ।
उनका हृदय (सदा) शीतल रहता है। यह शांति वाला ज्ञान उनके अंदर पक्का रहता है।
y la Sabiduría de los Santos es implantada en el interior.
ਰਹੰਤ ਜਨਮੰ ਹਰਿ ਦਰਸ ਲੀਣਾ ॥
raha(n)t janama(n) har dharas leenaa ||
Reincarnation is ended, and the Blessed Vision of the Lord's Darshan is obtained.
ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਦੀਦਾਰ ਵਿਚ ਮਸਤ ਅਜੇਹੇ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਜਨਮ (-ਮਰਨ) ਮੁੱਕ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ,
हे नानक ! परमात्मा के दीदार में मस्त ऐसे लोगों का जन्म (-मरण) खत्म हो जाता है।
La reencarnación termina y la Bendita Visión del Darshan del Señor Dios es obtenida.
ਬਾਜੰਤ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਬਦ ਬੀਣਾਂ ॥੧੩॥
baaja(n)t naanak sabadh beenaa(n) ||13||
O Nanak, the musical instrument of the Word of the Shabad vibrates and resounds within. ||13||
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤਿ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਦੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਵਾਜੇ (ਸਦਾ) ਵੱਜਦੇ ਹਨ ।੧੩।
उनके अंदर परमात्मा की महिमा की बाणी के बाजे (सदा) बजते हैं। 13।
Oh dice Nanak, el Instrumento Musical de la Palabra del Shabd, vibra y resuena en el interior. (13)
ਕਹੰਤ ਬੇਦਾ ਗੁਣੰਤ ਗੁਨੀਆ ਸੁਣੰਤ ਬਾਲਾ ਬਹੁ ਬਿਧਿ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰਾ ॥
kaha(n)t bedhaa guna(n)t guneeaa suna(n)t baalaa bahu bidh prakaaraa ||
The Vedas preach and recount God's Glories; people hear them by various ways and means.
ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਵੇਦ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਦਵਾਨ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਕਈ ਢੰਗਾਂ ਤਰੀਕਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਚਾਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਤੇ (ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ) ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਸੁਣਦੇ ਹਨ ।
जो कुछ वेद कहते हैं। उसको विद्वान मनुष्य कई ढंग-तरीकों से विचारते हैं। और (उनके) विद्यार्थी सुनते हैं। पर।
Los Vedas hablan y recuentan las Glorias de Dios y la gente los escucha de muy variadas maneras,
ਦ੍ਰਿੜੰਤ ਸੁਬਿਦਿਆ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਲਾ ॥
dhiraRa(n)t subidhiaa har har kirapaalaa ||
The Merciful Lord, Har, Har, implants spiritual wisdom within.
ਪਰ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਤੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਹੋੋਵੇ, ਉਹ (ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਦੀ) ਸ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਟ ਵਿਦਿਆ ਨੂੰ (ਆਪਣੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ) ਦ੍ਰਿੜ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ।
जिन पर परमात्मा की कृपा हो। वे (परमात्मा के सिमरन की) श्रेष्ठ विद्या को (अपने हृदय में) दृढ़ करते हैं।
el Misericordioso Señor, Jar, Jar, implanta la Sabiduría Espiritual en el interior.
ਨਾਮ ਦਾਨੁ ਜਾਚੰਤ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੈਨਹਾਰ ਗੁਰ ਗੋਪਾਲਾ ॥੧੪॥
naam dhaan jaacha(n)t naanak dhainahaar gur gopaalaa ||14||
Nanak begs for the Gift of the Naam, the Name of the Lord. The Guru is the Great Giver, the Lord of the World. ||14||
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਉਹ ਵਡਭਾਗੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇਵਣਹਾਰ ਗੁਰੂ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਤੋਂ (ਸਦਾ) ਨਾਮਿ ਦੀ ਦਾਤਿ ਹੀ ਮੰਗਦੇ ਹਨ ।੧੪।
हे नानक ! वह भाग्यशाली मनुष्य देवनहार गुरू परमात्मा से (सदा) नाम की दाति ही माँगते हैं। 14।
Nanak espera hincado el Regalo del Naam, el Nombre de Dios, el Guru es el Gran Dador, el Señor del Mundo. (14)
ਨਹ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਮਾਤ ਪਿਤ ਭ੍ਰਾਤਹ ਨਹ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਕਛੁ ਲੋਕ ਕਹ ॥
neh chi(n)taa maat pit bhraateh neh chi(n)taa kachh lok keh ||
Do not worry so much about your mother, father and siblings. Do not worry so much about other people.
ਮਾਂ ਪਿਉ ਭਰਾ ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਮਿੱਤਰ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਲੋਕ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਵਿਅਰਥ ਹੈ ।
इनके वास्ते किसी तरह की चिंता व्यर्थ है। (जो) माता। पिता। भाई।
No te preocupes tanto por tu madre, padre y hermanos, no te preocupes mucho por la demás gente,
ਨਹ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਬਨਿਤਾ ਸੁਤ ਮੀਤਹ ਪ੍ਰਵਿਰਤਿ ਮਾਇਆ ਸਨਬੰਧਨਹ ॥
neh chi(n)taa banitaa sut meeteh pravirat maiaa sanaba(n)dhaneh ||
Do not worry about your spouse, children and friends. You are obsessed with your involvements in Maya.
ਜੋ ਮਾਇਆ ਵਿਚ ਪਰਵਿਰਤ ਹੋਣ ਕਰਕੇ (ਸਾਡੇ) ਸਨਬੰਧੀ ਹਨ, ਇਹਨਾਂ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਵਿਅਰਥ ਹੈ ।
स्त्री। पुत्र मित्र और लोग जो माया में प्रवृति होने के कारण (हमारे) संबन्धी हैं।
por tu pareja, hijos y amigos, tienes obsesión por tus asuntos con Maya.
ਦਇਆਲ ਏਕ ਭਗਵਾਨ ਪੁਰਖਹ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਰਬ ਜੀਅ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਲਕਹ ॥੧੫॥
dhiaal ek bhagavaan purakheh naanak sarab jeea pratipaalakeh ||15||
The One Lord God is Kind and Compassionate, O Nanak. He is the Cherisher and Nurturer of all living beings. ||15||
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਸਾਰੇ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਾਲਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਦਇਆ ਦਾ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਇਕ ਭਗਵਾਨ ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਹੀ ਹੈ ।੧੫।
हे नानक ! सारे जीवों को पालने वाला दया का समुंद्र एक भगवान अकाल-पुरख ही है। 15।
El Señor es Bondadoso y Compasivo, oh dice Nanak, Él es el Moldeador y el cuidador de todas las criaturas vivientes. (15)
ਅਨਿਤੵ ਵਿਤੰ ਅਨਿਤੵ ਚਿਤੰ ਅਨਿਤੵ ਆਸਾ ਬਹੁ ਬਿਧਿ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰੰ ॥
anitaye vita(n) anitaye chita(n) anitaye aasaa bahu bidh prakaara(n) ||
Wealth is temporary; conscious existence is temporary; hopes of all sorts are temporary.
ਧਨ ਨਿੱਤ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, (ਇਸ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਧਨ ਦੀਆਂ) ਸੋਚਾਂ ਵਿਅਰਥ (ਉੱਦਮ) ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਧਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਈ ਕਿਸਮ ਦੀਆਂ ਆਸਾਂ (ਬਣਾਣੀਆਂ ਭੀ) ਵਿਅਰਥ ਹੈ ।
धन नित्य रहने वाला नहीं है। (इसलिए धन की) सोचें व्यर्थ (का उद्यम) है। और धन की कई किस्मों की आशाएं (बनानी भी) व्यर्थ हैं।
La riqueza es temporal, la existencia conciente es temporal y todas las esperanzas también son temporales.
ਅਨਿਤੵ ਹੇਤੰ ਅਹੰ ਬੰਧੰ ਭਰਮ ਮਾਇਆ ਮਲਨੰ ਬਿਕਾਰੰ ॥
anitaye heta(n) aha(n) ba(n)dha(n) bharam maiaa malana(n) bikaara(n) ||
The bonds of love, attachment, egotism, doubt, Maya and the pollution of corruption are temporary.
ਨਿੱਤ ਨਾਹ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੋਹ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਹਉਮੈ ਦਾ ਬੱਧਾ ਜੀਵ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੀ ਖ਼ਾਤਰ ਭਟਕਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤੇ, ਮੈਲੇ ਮੰਦੇ ਕਰਮ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ।
नित्य ना रहने वाले पदार्थों के मोह के कारण अहंकार का बँधा हुआ जीव माया की खातिर भटकता है। और। मलीन बुरे कर्म करता है।
Los lazos de amor, apego, egoísmo, duda, Maya y la contaminación por corrupción, son temporales,
ਫਿਰੰਤ ਜੋਨਿ ਅਨੇਕ ਜਠਰਾਗਨਿ ਨਹ ਸਿਮਰੰਤ ਮਲੀਣ ਬੁਧੵੰ ॥
fira(n)t jon anek jaTharaagan neh simara(n)t maleen budhaye(n) ||
The mortal passes through the fire of the womb of reincarnation countless times. He does not remember the Lord in meditation; his understanding is polluted.
ਮੈਲੀ ਮਤਿ ਵਾਲਾ ਬੰਦਾ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਜੂਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਭੌਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ (ਮਾਂ ਦੇ) ਪੇਟ ਦੀ ਅੱਗ ਨੂੰ ਚੇਤੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਰੱਖਦਾ (ਜੋ ਜੂਨ ਵਿਚ ਪਿਆਂ ਸਹਾਰਨੀ ਪੈਂਦੀ ਹੈ) ।
मैली मति वाला बंदा अनेकों जूनियों में भटकता है और (माँ के) पेट के आग को याद नहीं रखता (जो जूनियों में पड़ने पर सहनी पड़ती है)।
el mortal va a través del fuego del vientre por incontables encarnaciones, no se acuerda del Señor en su meditación y su entendimiento se contamina.
ਹੇ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਕਰਤ ਮਇਆ ਨਾਨਕ ਪਤਿਤ ਉਧਾਰਣ ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਮਹ ॥੧੬॥
he gobi(n)dh karat miaa naanak patit udhaaran saadh sa(n)gameh ||16||
O Lord of the Universe, when You grant Your Grace, even sinners are saved. Nanak dwells in the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy. ||16||
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕਰ—) ਹੇ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ! ਮੇਹਰ ਕਰ, ਤੇ ਜੀਵ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ ਜਿਥੇ ਵਡੇ ਵਿਕਰਮੀ ਵੀ ਬਚ ਨਿਕਲਦੇ ਹਨ ।੧੬।
हे नानक ! (विनती कर-) हे गोबिंद ! मेहर कर। और जीव को साध-संगति बख्श जहाँ से बड़े कुकर्मी भी बच निकलते हैं। 16।
Oh Señor del Universo, cuando otorgas Tu Gracia, aún los más malvados son salvados, Nanak habita en la Saad Sangat, la Compañía de los Santos. (16)
ਗਿਰੰਤ ਗਿਰਿ ਪਤਿਤ ਪਾਤਾਲੰ ਜਲੰਤ ਦੇਦੀਪੵ ਬੈਸ੍ਵਾਂਤਰਹ ॥
gira(n)t gir patit paataala(n) jala(n)t dhedheepaye baisavaiaa(n)tareh ||
You may drop down from the mountains, and fall into the nether regions of the underworld, or be burnt in the blazing fire,
ਪਹਾੜ ਤੋਂ ਡਿੱਗ ਕੇ ਪਾਤਾਲ ਵਿਚ ਜਾ ਪੈਣਾ, ਭੜਕਦੀ ਅੱਗ ਵਿਚ ਸੜਨਾ,
पहाड़ से गिर के पाताल में जा गिरना। भड़कती आग में जलना।
Podrás caer de la montaña a las regiones inferiores del bajo mundo, o ser quemado en el candente fuego,o ser arrastrado por las profundas olas de las aguas,
ਬਹੰਤਿ ਅਗਾਹ ਤੋਯੰ ਤਰੰਗੰ ਦੁਖੰਤ ਗ੍ਰਹ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਜਨਮੰ ਤ ਮਰਣਹ ॥
baha(n)t agaeh toya(n) tara(n)ga(n) dhukha(n)t greh chi(n)taa janama(n) ta maraneh ||
or swept away by the unfathomable waves of water; but the worst pain of all is household anxiety, which is the source of the cycle of death and rebirth.
ਡੰੂਘੇ ਪਾਣੀਆਂ ਦਅਿਾਂ ਠਿੱਲਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਰੁੜ੍ਹ ਜਾਣਾ—ਅਜੇਹੇ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ (ਕਠਨ) ਸਾਧਨ, ਘਰ ਦੀ ਚਿੰਤਾ (ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਮੋਹ) ਅਤੇ ਜਨਮ ਮਰਨ ਦੇ ਦੁੱਖਾਂ ਤੋਂ (ਬਚਣ ਲਈ) ਸਫਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੇ ।
गहरे पानी की लहरें में बह जाना- ऐसे अनेकों (कठिन) साधन। घर की चिंता (माया के मोह) और जनम मरन के दुखों से (बचने के लिए) सफल नहीं होते।
pero la peor pena de todas es la ansiedad del hogar, pues es la fuente del ciclo del nacimiento y la muerte.
ਅਨਿਕ ਸਾਧਨੰ ਨ ਸਿਧੵਤੇ ਨਾਨਕ ਅਸਥੰਭੰ ਅਸਥੰਭੰ ਅਸਥੰਭੰ ਸਬਦ ਸਾਧ ਸ੍ਵਜਨਹ ॥੧੭॥
anik saadhana(n) na sidhayete naanak asatha(n)bha(n) asatha(n)bha(n) asatha(n)bha(n) sabadh saadh savaijaneh ||17||
No matter what you do, you cannot break its bonds, O Nanak. Man's only Support, Anchor and Mainstay is the Word of the Shabad, and the Holy, Friendly Saints. ||17||
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਸਦਾ ਲਈ ਜੀਵ ਦਾ ਆਸਰਾ ਗੁਰ-ਸ਼ਬਦ ਹੀ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ ।੧੭।
हे नानक ! सदा के लिए जीव का आसरा गुरू-शबद ही है जो साध-संगति में मिलता है। 17।
No importa lo que hagas, no puedes romper estas amarras, oh dice Nanak, el Único Soporte, el Ancla y Mástil del ser humano es la Palabra del Shabd y los Amigables Santos. (17)
ਘੋਰ ਦੁਖੵੰ ਅਨਿਕ ਹਤੵੰ ਜਨਮ ਦਾਰਿਦ੍ਰੰ ਮਹਾ ਬਿਖੵਾਦੰ ॥
ghor dhukhaye(n) anik hataye(n) janam dhaaridhra(n) mahaa bikhayeaadha(n) ||
Excruciating pain, countless killings, reincarnation, poverty and terrible misery
ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ, ਭਿਆਨਕ ਦੁੱਖ-ਕੇਲਸ਼, (ਕੀਤੇ ਹੋਏ) ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਖ਼ੂਨ, ਜਨਮਾਂ ਜਨਮਾਂਤਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਗ਼ਰੀਬੀ, ਵੱਡੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਪੁਆੜੇ
भयानक दुख-कलेश। (किए हुए) अनेकों खून। जन्मों-तन्मांतरों की गरीबी। बड़े-बड़े झगड़े- ये सारे।
Terribles dolores, múltiples matanzas, reencarnaciones, pobrezas y extrema miseria,
ਮਿਟੰਤ ਸਗਲ ਸਿਮਰੰਤ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮ ਨਾਨਕ ਜੈਸੇ ਪਾਵਕ ਕਾਸਟ ਭਸਮੰ ਕਰੋਤਿ ॥੧੮॥
miTa(n)t sagal simara(n)t har naam naanak jaise paavak kaasaT bhasama(n) karot ||18||
are all destroyed by meditating in remembrance on the Lord's Name, O Nanak, just as fire reduces piles of wood to ashes. ||18||
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਿਆਂ ਮਿਟ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਅੱਗ ਲੱਕੜਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਆਹ ਕਰ ਦੇਂਦੀ ਹੈ ।੧੮।
हे नानक ! परमात्मा का नाम सिमरने से मिट जाते हैं। जैसे आग लकड़ियों को राख कर देती है। 18।
son todos destruidos meditando en el Naam, oh dice Nanak, así como el fuego convierte la madera en ceniza. (18)
ਅੰਧਕਾਰ ਸਿਮਰਤ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸੰ ਗੁਣ ਰਮੰਤ ਅਘ ਖੰਡਨਹ ॥
a(n)dhakaar simarat prakaasa(n) gun rama(n)t agh kha(n)ddaneh ||
Meditating in remembrance on the Lord, the darkness is illuminated. Dwelling on His Glorious Praises, the ugly sins are destroyed.
ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਿਆਂ (ਅਗਿਆਨਤਾ ਦਾ) ਹਨੇਰਾ (ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਕੇ) (ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੀ ਸੂਝ ਦਾ) ਚਾਨਣ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ । ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਚੇਤੇ ਕੀਤਿਆਂ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਸ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ।
परमात्मा का नाम सिमरने से (अज्ञानता का) अंधेरा (दूर हो के) (आत्मिक जीवन की सूझ का) प्रकाश हो जाता है। प्रभू के गुण याद करने से पापों का नाश हो जाता है।
Meditando en el Señor, la oscuridad es iluminada, habitando en Sus Gloriosas Alabanzas las más horrendas maldades son eliminadas.
ਰਿਦ ਬਸੰਤਿ ਭੈ ਭੀਤ ਦੂਤਹ ਕਰਮ ਕਰਤ ਮਹਾ ਨਿਰਮਲਹ ॥
ridh basa(n)t bhai bheet dhooteh karam karat mahaa niramaleh ||
Enshrining the Lord deep within the heart, and with the immaculate karma of doing good deeds, one strikes fear into the demons.
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਵੱਸਿਆਂ ਜਮਦੂਤ ਭੀ ਡਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਬੜੇ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰ ਕਰਮ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ।
प्रभू का नाम हृदय में बसने से जमदूत भी डरते हैं। वह मनुष्य बड़े पवित्र कर्म करने वाला बन जाता है।

ਜਨਮ ਮਰਣ ਰਹੰਤ ਸ੍ਰੋਤਾ ਸੁਖ ਸਮੂਹ ਅਮੋਘ ਦਰਸਨਹ ॥
janam maran raha(n)t srotaa sukh samooh amogh dharasaneh ||
The cycle of coming and going in reincarnation is ended, absolute peace is obtained, and the Fruitful Vision of the Lord's Darshan.
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤਿ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਸੁਣਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਦਾ ਜਨਮ ਮਰਨ (ਦਾ ਗੇੜ) ਮੁੱਕ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਦੀਦਾਰ ਫਲ ਦੇਣ ਤੋਂ ਖੁੰਝਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ, ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਸੁਖ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ ।
प्रभू की सिफत-सालाह सुनने वाले का जनम-मरण (का चक्कर) समाप्त हो जाता है। प्रभू का दीदार फल मिलता है। अनेकों सुख मिलते हैं।

ਸਰਣਿ ਜੋਗੰ ਸੰਤ ਪ੍ਰਿਅ ਨਾਨਕ ਸੋ ਭਗਵਾਨ ਖੇਮੰ ਕਰੋਤਿ ॥੧੯॥
saran joga(n) sa(n)t pria naanak so bhagavaan khema(n) karot ||19||
He is Potent to give Protection, He is the Lover of His Saints. O Nanak, the Lord God blesses all with bliss. ||19||
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਉਹ ਭਗਵਾਨ ਜੋ ਸੰਤਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਸਰਨ ਆਇਆਂ ਦੀ ਸਹੈਤਾ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਸਮਰੱਥ ਹੈ (ਭਗਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਭ) ਸੁਖ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ ।੧੪।
हे नानक ! वह भगवान जो संतों का प्यारा है और शरण आए हुओं की सहायता करने के समर्थ है (भगतों को) सब सुख देता है। 19।

ਪਾਛੰ ਕਰੋਤਿ ਅਗ੍ਰਣੀਵਹ ਨਿਰਾਸੰ ਆਸ ਪੂਰਨਹ ॥
paachha(n) karot agraneeveh niraasa(n) aas pooraneh ||
Those who were left behind - the Lord brings them to the front. He fulfills the hopes of the hopeless.
ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਤੁਰਨ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਗੂ ਬਣਾ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਨਿਰਾਸਿਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਆਸਾਂ ਪੂਰੀਆਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ।
वह प्रभू पीछे चलनों वालों को आगू बना देता है। निराश लोगों की आशाएं पूरी कर देता है।
Los que fueron dejados atrás, el Señor los trae al frente, Él cumple las esperanzas de quien no las tiene.
ਨਿਰਧਨ ਭਯੰ ਧਨਵੰਤਹ ਰੋਗੀਅੰ ਰੋਗ ਖੰਡਨਹ ॥
niradhan bhaya(n) dhanava(n)teh rogeea(n) rog kha(n)ddaneh ||
He makes the poor rich, and cures the illnesses of the ill.
(ਉਸ ਦੀ ਮੇਹਰ ਨਾਲ) ਕੰਗਾਲ ਧਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ । ਉਹ ਮਾਲਕ ਰੋਗੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਰੋਗ ਨਾਸ ਕਰਨ-ਜੋਗ ਹੈ ।
(उसकी मेहर से) कंगाल धन वाला बन जाता है। वह मालिक रोगियों का रोग नाश करने-योग्य है।
Vuelve al pobre, rico, y cura las enfermedades del enfermo.
ਭਗਤੵੰ ਭਗਤਿ ਦਾਨੰ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮ ਗੁਣ ਕੀਰਤਨਹ ॥
bhagataye(n) bhagat dhaana(n) raam naam gun keerataneh ||
He blesses His devotees with devotion. They sing the Kirtan of the Praises of the Lord's Name.
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪਣੇ ਭਗਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਭਗਤੀ ਨਾਮ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤਿ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਦੀ ਦਾਤਿ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ ।
प्रभू अपने भक्तों को अपनी भगती। नाम और गुणों की सिफत-सालाह की दाति देता है। मनुष्य का आचरण ऊँचा बन जाता है।

ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਪੁਰਖ ਦਾਤਾਰਹ ਨਾਨਕ ਗੁਰ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਿੰ ਨ ਲਭੵਤੇ ॥੨੦॥
paarabraham purakh dhaataareh naanak gur sevaa ki(n) na labhayete ||20||
O Nanak, those who serve the Guru find the Supreme Lord God, the Great Giver||20||
ਸਰਬ-ਵਿਆਪਕ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਸਭ ਦਾਤਾਂ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ । ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ (ਉਸ ਪਾਸੋਂ) ਕੀਹ ਕੁਝ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲਦਾ
सर्व-व्यापक प्रभू सब दातें देने वाला है। हे नानक ! गुरू की सेवा से (उससे) क्या कुछ नहीं मिलता। 20।
Oh dice Nanak, quienes sirven al Señor, encuentran al Supremo Señor Dios, el Gran Dador. (20)
ਅਧਰੰ ਧਰੰ ਧਾਰਣਹ ਨਿਰਧਨੰ ਧਨ ਨਾਮ ਨਰਹਰਹ ॥
adhara(n) dhara(n) dhaaraneh niradhana(n) dhan naam narahareh ||
He gives Support to the unsupported. The Name of the Lord is the Wealth of the poor.
ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਨਿਆਸਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਸਰਾ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਧਨ-ਹੀਣਾਂ ਦਾ ਧਨ ਹੈ ।
परमात्मा का नाम निआसरों को आसरा देने वाला है। और धन-हीनों का धन है।
Da Soporte a quien no lo tiene, el Naam es la Riqueza del pobre,
ਅਨਾਥ ਨਾਥ ਗੋਬਿੰਦਹ ਬਲਹੀਣ ਬਲ ਕੇਸਵਹ ॥
anaath naath gobi(n)dheh balaheen bal kesaveh ||
The Lord of the Universe is the Master of the masterless; the Beautiful-haired Lord is the Power of the weak.
ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਅਨਾਥਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਥ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਕੇਸ਼ਵ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨਿਤਾਣਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਤਾਣ ਹੈ ।
गोबिंद अनाथों का नाथ है और केशव प्रभू निताणियों का ताण है (निर्बलों का बल है)।
el Señor del Universo es el Maestro de quien no tiene uno, el Bello Señor es el Poder del débil.
ਸਰਬ ਭੂਤ ਦਯਾਲ ਅਚੁਤ ਦੀਨ ਬਾਂਧਵ ਦਾਮੋਦਰਹ ॥
sarab bhoot dhayaal achut dheen baa(n)dhav dhaamodhareh ||
The Lord is Merciful to all beings, Eternal and Unchanging, the Family of the meek and humble.
ਅਬਿਨਾਸ਼ੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਸਭ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਉਤੇ ਦਇਆ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਕੰਗਾਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਬੰਧੂ ਹੈ ।
अविनाशी प्रभू सब जीवों पर दया करने वाला है और कंगालों का बँधु है।
El Señor es Misericordioso con todos los seres, Eterno e Inmutable,
ਸਰਬਗੵ ਪੂਰਨ ਪੁਰਖ ਭਗਵਾਨਹ ਭਗਤਿ ਵਛਲ ਕਰੁਣਾ ਮਯਹ ॥
sarabagaye pooran purakh bhagavaaneh bhagat vachhal karunaa mayeh ||
The All-knowing, Perfect, Primal Lord God is the Lover of His devotees, the Embodiment of Mercy.
ਸਰਬ-ਵਿਆਪਕ ਭਗਵਾਨ ਸਭ ਜੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਦਿਲ ਦੀ ਜਾਣਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਭਗਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਤਰਸ ਦਾ ਘਰ ਹੈ ।
सर्व-व्यापक भगवान सब जीवों के दिल की जानने वाला है। भगती को प्यार करता है और तरस का घर है।
